Jwala wants Azhar as father-in-law?

She made headlines following her alleged link-up with former cricketer Md Azharuddin, which she rubbished as a rumor, and blamed it all on someone from the Badminton Association of India who was trying to malign her. Well, looks like she is set to make news again.

Commonwealth gold medalist Jwala Gutta has been spotted hanging out with Azharuddin's son Asaduddin once too often. Whether it is at a local spa in her hometown Hyderabad, or a health club, at parties or store launches, and even a felicitation, the duo has always been spotted together.

"Asaduddin is there at every match Jwala plays in Hyderabad, and he follows her game keenly. And not just that, after every game, Jwala always chooses to go and sit beside Asaduddin and the twosome can be spotted chatting away. They come together and leave together," says a source.

Another source informs that she was recently spotted at an IPL after-match party, once again in the company of Asaduddin. The duo did shy away from being clicked together — Jwala even snapped at a photographer —but they were clicked nonetheless.

Another source adds that Jwala, however, maintains that she and Asaduddin are just friends. She knows him since a long time and hence, whenever she goes out, she is with him. Asaduddin is an upcoming player and is hoping to shine in the next two years, so a protective Jwala does not want him to get involved in any controversy whatsoever.

A source from the BAI says, "We always knew that she was going out with Azharuddin, but if she has been spotted with his son Asaduddin too often, then I don't know..."

In July last year, Jwala was reported to be dating Azharuddin after stories of the latter gifting her a BMW began doing the rounds. It was soon learned that Jwala and her husband of five years, fellow shuttler Chetan Anand had been living separately for over two years. Jwala denied that there was anything between her and Azhar or that she was responsible for the Azhar-Sangeeta split. In August, however, Jwala filed for a divorce from Chetan and they have not really been on talking terms ever since.

The controversy did good for Jwala, making her grab headlines in every other newspaper. On the professional front also, she came back with a bang, winning the gold at the Commonwealth Games along with Ashwini Ponappa. Let's see what this one does for her.
